UPDATE 12/27/11: Happy Holidays! We hope that whatever you celebrate, that you enjoyed this time of the year to the fullest.. As we take a little break for the holidays and new year, we want to sincerely thank all of you guys that supported us throughout 2011! We had an amazing year with the release of our debut album and 33 awesome full band gigs! Not to mention 38 additional gigs as the BWOOD Acoustic duo!
As we book shows for possibly the last year ever (2012!) we are excited to play some new venues and old ones alike.. We already have dates booked at JC Wahoos in Lighthouse Point (1/6), Kahuna's (1/21 acoustic RHCP after-party & 2/3 full band @ one of our favorite venues in sFL), Surf Cafe (2/10) and The Dubliner (4/27) in Boca, among others.. and we are anticipating our return to The Culture Room (hopefully soon!) and you know what they say.. 3rd time's the charm!
Until then, have a VERY happy new year! And if you're staying in south FL, we highly recommend checking out our friends The Heavy Pets (w/ sit-in from Eric Krasno of Soulive & Lettuce!) & Aquaphonics along with some great DJs! FB RSVP here!

UPDATE 12/14/11: WOW a lot has happened this month! We had an amazing all night jam session with former Bushwood guitarist Aaron Fass on 12/2 at Poor House (click here for video of Flomanja) and played an absolutely killer show with our boys Spred The Dub, The Crazy Carls, and The Movement at the Culture Room on 12/10! NEXT UP: We'll be playing an acoustic evening at Mickey Brynes in downtown Hollywood, FL from 9pm-1a on Friday, 12/16/11.
And then the last full band shindig of 2011, going down on Saturday, 12/17/11 at the A1A Dive Bar - our 1st time playing there! - with our good friends Amanda & Eric opening up the show! They start at 9pm, and we go on around 10ish, music til 2am! Come party!

UPDATE 11/10/11: WE ARE RETURNING TO THE CULTURE ROOM!!!!! On December 10th, we'll be teaming up with our boys Spred The Dub to open up for The Movement - coming to us all the way from Philly, PA! We are stoked for that show and December is looking stacked in general... Hope to see you guys!

First off we got asked to play the Bay Jama Fest in Islamorada, FL on Saturday, Nov 26! We love playing the Keys and can't wait to get back down!
Also, mark your calendars for Friday, December 2, as BUSHWOOD will be playing a very special *reunion* show at the Poor House in Fort Lauderdale with former-guitar-slinger-who-moved-to-Texas Mr. Aaron Fass!

UPDATE 10/24/11: Our next show is a Halloween throwdown! Come out to World of Beer Coconut Creek on Friday night and get the Halloween weekend going right! Drink your favorite pumpkin beer and the best costume will get the opportunity to come upstairs and sing a song with us! Dress to impress!

UPDATE 10/17/11: Sad to say we got rained out on Saturday at Tiki Bash by the massive storm that engulfed the Keys all weekend.. wasn't worth it to fry all of our gear, as much as we wanted to play! Still made the best of it and got schwasted in Key Largo :)

UPDATE 10/10/11: TWO Weekends in The Keys? Sounds good! We had a really great time playing the wedding party last Friday night at the Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada - congrats to the Hanans on their nuptials! We were honored to be a part of such a beautiful event.
We'll be back in Key Largo this Saturday afternoon for Tiki Bash Throwback 2011! We've played Tiki Bash in both 2009 and 2010 (click for awesome video!), and we'll be back for this year's event on Saturday at the Bayside Grille. Can't wait to get back to the island...
